What shapes of patches do you guys print?

We print either “Round” or “Rectangular” or “Custom Shape” patches by default.

Are there any discounts for bigger orders?

HUGE discounts 19%-54% are available for Bulk Order Deals by default, check them here: Bulk Custom High Quality Gi Patch (5 units and more). However when you are willing to order more than 200 units, Contact Us before, and we will do the best possible offer for you.

Why do you mention Rickson Gracie?

Rickson Gracie is one of the greatest BJJ fighters of all time, basically unbeatable. He is the Chuck Norris of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and we simply couldn’t resist the temptation to mention his name on PatchYourGi™.

Can I have triangle (or oval, star-shape, diamond or any other shape) patch?

Yes, you can. Just choose the proper option: Round, Rectangular or Custom Shape Patch, when you selecting your order’s options.

When ordering a package of patches, do they all have to be the same size? For example, I want to order 10 of 10″ circular and 15 of 8″ circular.

It is easy when you using our new online shop: just proceed to the Place Order link and choose options of the first patch: size, shape and quantity. Than press “Add to cart” button and continue shopping then: choose option for your another patch and add it to the cart too. When you are ready and your order is 100% collected proceed to Checkout. After checkout is finished Upload File field form will appear for each of your patches. Upload. This is it!

I need to know if you can take a JPG and make patches from that image.

Yes we can make patches from JPG or other bitmap file, but we need it of really good quality (150-300 dpi) in order to make the picture perfect.

Hello, we are a small gym. We would only need 5 to 10 12″ patches. Whats the minimum order you guys take?

It should be a huge motto placed on our front door: “NO MINIMUMS!”
There are no minimums at PatchYourGi, you can order 1-4 patches as a retail order or choose 5 or more ones and get ridiculously big bulk discounts. We are happy to make one 2″ patch as well as 300 of 12″ backpatches.
Just give us a try :)

What sort of process do u use to create your patches?

Our patches are printed on the woven polyester fabric via dye sublimation heat transfer technology.
When heated to a high temperature, the sublimation ink turns into a gas, allowing it to enter into the open pores of the polyester fabric. Then the pores of the item cool and close up, trapping the ink (and image) inside the surface of the patch. The sublimated image will be smooth to the touch and is a permanent application. It will never crack, peel or fade.
Then we glue the polyester on the adhesive cotton substrate, cut them and finish edges with stitching. As a result you get your nice-looking, fully finished, ready to be sewed on your Gi patches. Enjoy!

Hey I have a picture was wondering if you had an email I could send it to. Too see if it’s possible to have it turned into a patch and what the price would be.

Please, send your design to support[at]patchyourgi.com and we will figure out how to make your patches as crystal clear as possible.

Question about the artwork. What format would it need to be in and how detailed can the patches be?

It could be vector-based format (AI, CDR, EPS) or high-res bitmap image (JPEG, PSD, PNG of at least 150 pixels per inch). We can print even gradient colors so don worry about number of details just make them visible enough :)
You can email your design before making order to support[at]patchyourgi.com and we will check it for you and let you know.
